@Jage I just jumped ahead 1.5 years in NVDA Updates, as well as IBMTTS and a new dictionary, and turns out someone specifically put your name (Jage) into it to pronounce like Jayjay. Haha. Do you feel honored?

@stevo399 Yup it's just a shorthand nickname from a joke amongst friends from somewhere around high school-ish. We were shortening all of the 2 ssyllable names to 1 for whatever reason for a moment and that one stuck.

@stevo399 I think I've heard of the dictionary you speak of but never bothered with it since they seem to add all sorts of weird words and nothing that would apply to me. Though I may not have room to talk since I have at least 200 Hearthstone cards in my NVDA default dict.
