That tattoo is NOT your generic run of the mill Halloween costume skull/crossbones. It's not #PiratesOfTheCaribbean. It's not #Luffy.
I personally do not believe that the tattoo artist didn't know what this was, esp since , nowadays, the details & nuances of this graphic pertain solely to the #farright (neo-nazis, Atomwaffen, White Power etc)

1) The US left has a big prob with carelessly and credulously according cachet to "ex" military/intel figures who've turned "peacenik" (many of whom *never* criticized US imperial violence they participated in *until after* their pensions kicked in) without asking the most basic q's.
