Shkodër has a reputation among Anglophone foreigners as being the most cycle-friendly city in Albania. This fellow makes videos of cities as seen from a car windshield, and he made one of Shkodër, but he also felt he had to get out of the car and make this one of its pedestrianized and cycle-friendlier areas.

This one is funny by contrast because he definitely notes how many more cyclists Shkodër seems to have.

What I'd say from my two cities experience of Albania so far (haven't been to Shkodër yet) is that lots of people in Albania cycle and walk. If only because they cannot afford cars. But the infrastructure is not equally supportive in cities here.

Shkodër clearly has some infrastructure that allows for more safety, even though the roads are also wider in places, which usually makes a place more dangerous to walk and ride.
