@BentiGorlich @xgebi @losttourist there's also this article from Jan 2024 that claims the share is actually much larger but hidden by many of them being behind Cloudflare etc. Just hard to confirm since the real IP is not supposed to be exposed and they don't say how they managed to figure it out: https://blog.benjojo.co.uk/post/who-hosts-the-fediverse-instances
