I kid you not: This is an actual post from the actual White House account, showing Donald Trump and JD Vance wearing crowns and the Democratic top figures wearing Mexican sombreros.

When the regime finally falls, I have a feeling posts like these will be submitted as evidence in the upcoming trials.

It will be like prosecuting the Nazi leadership — only this time with dumb people.

@randahl How optimistic that you think there will be trials.

@Azuaron how many thought Hitler was unstoppable in 1943?

Two years later he killed himself knowing it was over.

@randahl Sure, sure, sure.

Tell me, what militaries are going to invade the US and stop our Nazis?

Or, do you think the No Kings protestors are going to do more than stand around with signs? I mean, they didn't last time, and last time a million Americans were dead.

@Azuaron I think violence is rarely the right answer.

And the US is not out of options for a peaceful solution.

The midterms are only one year away, and at the moment they are certainly not looking good for Trump.

@randahl First of all, you opened with a promise of violence. Trying someone and jailing them (or, depending on the crimes, executing them) is a promise of violence. We can argue all day and night about how and why and when this violence is justified, but let's not pretend that pointing a gun at someone to kidnap and cage them is "non-violent" just because the police and courts are doing it.

But also, our elections have been compromised since the beginning with gerrymandering, voter suppression, the Electoral College, and the Senate, but that was supercharged following Shelby County v. Holder. We haven't had anything even approaching free and fair elections since before 2013.

With that appropriate context, bold of you to assume the guy you promise violence in the form of Stupid Nuremberg Trials, who is ALREADY sending the military into "Democrat-controlled cities", and who already has committed election fraud is going to hold even to our "normal" level of compromised elections in 2026.

Bold of you to assume that the Republican operative who just bought Dominion Voting Systems is totally on the up-and-up.

Bold of you to assume that, when dealing with fascists, we are the ones who get to make the choice between violence and non-violence.

Wild of you not to recognize that they have already chosen violence.

@Azuaron thank you for bringing Scott Leiendecker's purchase of Dominion Voting Systems to my attention. That is certainly something to keep an eye on.
