@[email protected] A lot of "foundational services" of AWS itself have a critical dependency on us-east-1. Even if you're hosting your workloads on eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, DE), you'll be affected by this outage. Not using AWS yourself? Maybe one of your service providers does, so you might be indirectly affected.

@hausaffe a truly capitalist society would recognize the actual cost of migrating resources to AWS. That shit is literally expensive compared to other cloud services. And never even attempt a transfer-out of your data. 😆
