Pear the Rooster sharing loudly crowing while right beside me. I heard that rooster have some way of closing off their ears to protect their ears against the loud noise of their crowing. I wonder if they can drive away snakes or weasels or any predators with delicate eardrums if they notice and intruder and start crowing??

That is so interesting! I didn't know they would close off their own ears. They should warn you so you can close off your ears too ;)
