“These [strikes on #Russian oil refineries] have had a greater impact than the sanctions did. That’s a mathematical fact. Through direct action, we have inflicted far greater damage on the revenues of the #Russian_Federation than any economically significant measures introduced so far.
That’s also an unpleasant truth, because it leads us to the next conclusion - that it’s still not enough. I mean the sanctions pressure. It is insufficient.
And if things continue as they are now, it won’t have enough of an impact to change the worldview of the #Russian_Federation.
But together with what we are doing, it will - and already does - produce results”.
