If you couldn't tell, I've been photographing a lot of Scottish mountains lately. Here's one from a rather turbulent day on a remote peak in the northwest highlands. There's something about the folklore and history of these spaces that deeply interests me. Images like these where you are battling the elements seem to capture a little bit of that feeling and emotion.

@murraylivingston love the rainbow poking through

I watched a tent reviewer\adventurer spend a night on top a #Scottish mountain in a blizzard once (on purpose)

Up till then I though Scottish "mountains" mild

I can not remember any other video that actually made me anxious.

@murraylivingston Looks like Tassie’s Central Plateau wilderness area (in parts—a diversity of landscapes).

Beautiful ♥️

I like the yellow flowers, so nice to see life there, and even, if I am correct, a few berries!

@murraylivingston Wonderful and powerful photo! Makes my heart ache about going back there, it's been far too long!
Is this peak the Ben Hope? The shape matches what I remember of the climb, one of my best in all Highlands.
Thanks a lot for the memories.
