Picture 1: When Congress discovered the multiple serious crimes George Santos had committed, The House overwhelmingly voted to kick him out.

Picture 2: Santos was then sentenced to 7 years in prison for wire fraud.

Picture 3-4: Trump has now commuted his sentence, arguing that Santos is Republican. To Trump it is always "For my friends everything. For my enemies, the law."

@maccruiskeen @randahl This is an extremely concise explanation of his worldview. To Trump, if you fall for someone else’s fraud, *you* are the one at fault; the other person was actually brilliant for conning you so masterfully. It is “caveat emptor” mixed with eugenics and writ across all of society, where the con artists are the rulers and the marks are the serfs.
