Since the emerald ash borer arrived in Oregon, there has been a lot of reporting on its spread and the damage it will cause, including my own in Columbia Insight. A lot of us have tackled the numbers and the science, and that's important - but Jaclyn Moyer, a fellow Corvallis writer, focuses instead on the trees and some of the people who will miss them most.
