Ngl, I bought this primarily for aesthetic reasons, but also because brewing for 3 with a pourover quickly loses its charm, lol. But I gotta say, it's a surprisingly pleasant morning coffee routine compared to any number of generic drippers I've used before. Just kinda frictionless, if you know what I mean.

And I mean, just look at it. It is so ridiculously of its time and I'm just completely tickled by it 😅. Makes a nice cup too, which can't be taken for granted these days lol.
Oh also I just went back for this. I know, I'm a sick man... but just look at it! 😂

Seriously though, my hand mixer finally gave up the ghost, and the little plastic (at least that's what it feels and sounds like) gears inside have been grinding for years the moment a bowl of separated dry and wet ingredients would start to become a moderately thick batter. This thing weighs about double what that did. Not that it's heavy, but it feels like a thing that was built to do what it said on the tin, and do it for longer than just 5-10 years.

As my grandpa used to say (which I've since stolen and taken to repeating as often as possible): don't take any wooden nickels!
