"I asked chatGPT" "I asked Grok" yeah well I rolled a d20 and it was a nat go fuck yourself

@fes4ever I asked ChatGPT to roll a d20, it said "thorty eleven".

I asked Anthroopic Claude to roll a d20, and it said "-Ɛ"

I asked Grok to roll a d20, it said "88".

@fes4ever I asked an AI to roll a d20 for me. Wait a minute...

@fes4ever I asked my ouija board. Granny said no.

@fes4ever this is unironically something i did while figuring out if i was trans or not

and i got an immediate nat 20

@fes4ever I just had that yesterday on the Lazarus forum. Someone asked Grok something about an issue in the FPC compiler in the hope of finding a solution, but in the first sentence of the response I already knew how wrong the answer would be and didn't bother to fully read the nonsense that followed 🙄 (of course it didn't help that the poster asked Grok already in a biased way with a wrong premise, so of course the stochastic parrot would pick that up and present a solution for an issue that is none... 🙄)
@fes4ever I would like a news filter that blocked all articles where the journo talks of padding out their article with whatever bullshit some LLM came up with
@fes4ever no joke, I keep several dice next to my computer and have sometimes roll them to make decisions.
@fes4ever sounds about right, honestly
@fes4ever The only thing I've found these types of AI useful for is making it tell me a story interactively and seeing how fast I can get it to be completely nonsensical (without just feeding it gibberish), or how fast I can play a non-violent character and still push the AI's narrative to extreme violence. Though, this gets boring when the AI can't keep track of previous in-story events too many times.
Attempting to keep it on a sensical story is a fun challenge too

@fes4ever That last one is the most challenging. AI's playing fiction tend to either get ABSURDLY mundane, or go to thermonuclear war REAL fast!

I've spotted a lot of interesting patterns fucking around with them like this
