I think every time a Conservative says or does another insane thing, it's because of a deep seated fear, (and of course because they no longer have responsible sane adult supervision.)

So, for instance Pete Hegseth hates beards, and is being so weird about it, he clearly can't grow one or only a scruffy Joe Dirt beard.

Trump is on his rant about filling babies with water and needles, because he's terrified of needles.

They are all so worried about protecting Charlie Kirk's legacy, because they know that they don't have one that isn't part of a Nuremberg Trial.

The 'Behind the Bastards' on RFK Jr makes it pretty clear just how hands off his parents were and how the non-family around him excused everything because of said trauma which probably has something to do with how he is.
