mastodon DNI list that just a couple linux distros and netbsd
do NOT reply, reblog, or like my posts if you use g*ntoo
arch users, you're on thin fucking ice
@foone that's just pacman life anyway
@foone So glad that my poor Risc OS friends haven't been wished to the cornfield. :D
@foone it's on sight for bunsenlabs users
@foone what if I'm using Fedora?
@foone why? is it for original arch too?

@k1tt3n @foone probably because of all the elitism that surrounds Arch. also don't forget about the whole "i use arch btw" thing.

really shameful I don't really have the time to switch away to something more decent

@foone honestly arch has a critical mass of people making stuff work for it that you can usually find a post by someone who has gotten the weird thing you have working before
@foone i never even heard of guntoo. sounds american.
@yetzt @foone don't go giving them id... actually hold on... a distro where you have to use NES Zappers as the only accepted input peripheral would totally "own the libs". oh no i hope nobody does that, it would destroy all of wokeness forever!
@foone quietly hiding `stage3.tar.gz` behind my back

@foone

Any other distros? Asking for a friend.

@foone
Gentoo users are harmless. They're too busy compiling updates to ever get up to anything bad.
@jannem @foone but what about when they have 2 computers and they can be emerging world on one and whatever bad people do on the other one? Hmmm??? what then?!
@el_on_libera @jannem @foone you know they only have two for when one of them won't boot
@foone those loops aren't going to funroll themselves, you know!
@foone What is the point of a 12 core cpu if I’m not maxing it out for 30+ minutes anytime I run updates to my system? I paid for the whole computer and I will use the whole computer.
@foone Gentoo user here.
@linuxfiend @foone I use arch, btw. Well, an arch variant called Garuda. I haven't noticed any snakes around my desk since using it, so I guess it's working.
@StarkRG I use Arch on my Thinkpad only because I don't use it enough to justify putting Gentoo on it.
