Privacy is a human right. Encryption is one way to achieve privacy. Any method to deny people encryption therefore denies them privacy. If you use cameras to catch drug dealers selling cocaine to children, you are still denying them their human rights.
This is important, because once you put cameras in place to save teh children, suddenly a lot of other privacy starts getting violated... and a lot of other human rights start going down the toilet.
(Also don't worry about the children. Their lunch money isn't nearly enough to buy cocaine.)
