when I'm talking to trans lady homies, i'm always hyper-aware of when I address the rhetorical man; as in: "oh man this sucks." i'm basically never forgetting not to say that, not because i think they'd misconstrue me — it'd be fine (probably..) — it's just awkward every time, i feel.
