The event will bring together human resource managers, software developers, policymakers, oversight bodies, civil society organisations, and jobseekers in a space for interdisciplinary dialogue. 👉 Throughout the day, participants will be introduced to the FINDHR toolkits, join panel discussions with leading European experts, and explore technical, legal, and social strategies to build a more fair and responsible hiring process. 🔑 Key topics on the agenda: - Mitigation strategies for technical, pre-existing, and emerging biases in AI-driven recruitment. - Innovation in software design and its alignment with human resource management. - Current gaps and challenges in regulation, policy, and governance (AI Act, GDPR, anti-discrimination directives). - The role of equality bodies, civil society, and jobseekers in addressing algorithmic discrimination. 👥 Confirmed and to-be-confirmed speakers and moderators include researchers from the FINDHR consortium, European oversight representatives, and civil society organisations. ✅ Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
