mccIs BeagleBone good. As a Raspberry pi replacement. I have a BeagleBone and it seems ok. But I never used. Raspberry pi. So I don't know what I'm missing

@ratsnakegames to me Arduino means atmel or something. The beagle I own runs linux
@mcc To me, the Arduinos (many of which have Cortexes too) are for microcontroller stuff and the Raspi is for computer stuff and I always thought of the BB as more of the former, I guess. Sorry, I'm just rambling.
Steve Scotten@ratsnakegames You're not wrong. The Beaglebone's PRUs make it good for that realtime control stuff you'd use a microcontroller for. Beaglebones are microcomputers that have built-in microcontrollers. So they are popular with the Arduino crowd even though they are full-fledged microcomputers and actually run operating systems. @mcc
