Hey so, I hear you guys don't like amazon.

Me, I do like books.

I don't like Amazon either.

So I've marked down the non-amazon prices of my books. And as an added bonus, the versions of the books purchased through any non-amazon vendor come without DRM.

They are about half-price (3.99 CAD)in e-Book form from Rakuten Kobo from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow.

@patcharcana just picked up a copy! excited to sit down to read it!
@patcharcana I thought Amazon didn't allow this with books it sells.

@patcharcana

It always annoyed me that Amazon applies DRM protection over books that start after the flypage with, "This book has been provided from the publisher without DRM ..."

However, since I sideload all of my books and Amazon does not allow that, this is no longer an issue for me.

@patcharcana
Thanks for that, I'll check it out.
Little tip I just learned - You can make Kobo links take people to their local store page (i.e. the UK for me) by removing the "/country/language" pair from the URL.
@patcharcana
https://www.kobo.com/ebook/sanity-line should take you to Canada, but takes me to the UK.
Pricing hasn't updated here though.
@patcharcana Thank you so much!
@patcharcana Thanks, I just grabbed the first one and started in this morning!
