@fdroidorg Hi! Thanks for this article. It makes this issue clear. Just a question: If this registration and payment scheme is finally put in place by Google, could F-Droid and other open-source app repositories still available for e/OS/, Lineage OS or Graphene OS users?

@jo Only time can tell. We hope users all over the world enjoy free, clean, privacy respecting apps, not just the 0.00001% 🥲 Hence we push for such rules to be abolished, and Android to be kept truly open.
