@GPJohnston today I learned this song was sung by many people - I thought it was just Juice Newton!

@TheresaReason Yes, Merilee had the first hit with it, she’s from the Seattle area and played a lot of local venues back then. Saw her at Lake Hills Roller Rink in Bellevue, it had concerts and dances weekend nights. Also saw Buddy Miles there, you might be too young to know of him, had some hits and also played with Jimi Hendrix. 🙂
