It appears that the reason that nobody's used the #Tumblr API to make an alternative mobile client is that Tumblr doesn't want devs messing with the dashboard (and its ads). So they stipulate, in their TOS, that you can't recreate the dashboard or yeet the ads from it. Hmm

Someone who actually knows Android app development please contribute to the #Tumblr #ReVanced patches I am sick and tired of the "block ads" patch being broken

if you're consuming the API surely you just get json back with post data? Unless I'm missing something.

(I've never built an app but I use it in the browser all the time)
