Apple to Europe: „Your laws are bad for us, therefore we are withholding unrelated features from your citizens and do everything possible to lobby against your laws.“
Apple in the USA: „We only follow the laws and orders of our authoritarian government, there is nothing we can do against it.“
@_holger This just says "We like legislation which boosts our business. If you country has legislation which compromises that, go change your laws to accomodate us"
Europe to Apple: Go f*ck yourself. You need us, we don't need you. We make the rules here, not you. If you want to do business here, accept the rules like every other company. You're not special. And we're certainly not going to change the law just for you. You don't even pay taxes in most European countries.
