When this is all over, some people will need to be executed or imprisoned for life, a political party and its members will have to be banned, a bunch of companies will need to be dismantled, and the wealthy will need to have their assets seized and redistributed.

The longer people pretend otherwise, the worse things are going to get.

"Normal" Americans don't understand that the rule of law has already collapsed and the country is governed by sheer inertia at this point.

Most of them don't even know what's happening except everything suddenly costs more.

Trump, being in office, will naturally be blamed, but if you think we can vote or legislate our way out of this, what a sunny optimist you are.

The rich and powerful perpetuate the negative feedback loops that will keep bringing us to this point.
