We had a huge thunderstorm last night. I hadn't unplugged the radio so I hope it wasn't fried.

This morning there wasn't any power, so we left home for my parents who do have power.

Living in a provincial and remote town is hard work, even basics like water and electricity supply are extremely unreliable, even in 2025!

@M0KHR I bought replacement pin diodes for my 991a which was also was "forgot to unplug"ed from hf dipole and it got a little damage from very near hit.

@ly2ss Just tested it, it works! Although 40m is very dead for me, 10m is busy so having a go at that.
