hi, security team, I keep getting fishing emails.

security team: you mean phishing?

no. fishing. I'm pretty certain.

@xssfox if you give a security team a fishing email, you amuse them for a day…
@xssfox get the wrong part of Shimano to sponsor sonde hub
@alexhelvetica @xssfox what would be the right part?
@vk3xe @xssfox the "correct" part would be bike Shimano
@alexhelvetica @vk3xe @xssfox It wouldn't be correct; somehow the one thing that keeps showing up in our spam quarantine's ads for e-bikes.
@xssfox you’ve got to admit, it’s the perfect lure… 😉
@xssfox *looks for "Report Fishing" button*
@xssfox I feel like the message should have ended with "and that's all I know about shrimp, er, fish."
@xssfox Almost everyone I know who's in tech/software/IT would be far more likely to click links in a mail about fishing, rather than the usual phishing emails about "hiring people", "improving workflows" and stuff like that.
Me included.
