@historyofpunkrock The Muffs are one of my all-time favorite bands

I had multiple chances that I could've seen them over the years, but there was always 'something else' going on. Now I don't remember what any of the 'something elses' were, only that I never took the opportunity to watch them live

@zerofox @historyofpunkrock I grew up in SoCal in the mid/late 90's and got to see them play several times, once even for free at a Rock For Choice show! They were always fantastic. The first time I saw them, I was sure Kim wouldn't be able to scream and growl like she did on the albums, but she actually did MORE screaming and growling, which increased my love for her.

I put on all my old Muffs records yesterday. Kim’s voice is so distinct and she’s one of my favorite vocalists. So rad how she can go from those fierce growly lines and screams to songs that are almost cozy and intimate 🖤
