October starts tomorrow and as I had a lot of fun last year taking part in #hARToween I figured I should try another month long daily pixel art creation challenge again.

The prompt list of #cosytober2025 looks like it could be fun, and so I think I'll go with that!

Not yet sure about my personal rules, but currently thinking about 64x64 (vs 128x128 last year) & maybe EDG77 or possibly even something smaller as a palette...

Everyone is free to participate. Please tag me (I’m RosieSoCosy on all the socials) and use hashtag #cosytober2025 so I can find your work! 1/2

Like last year of course I won't commit to actually do it every day as real life will probably prevent that from working, but again the goal will be to finish all, and if possible within October.

Last year's thread is btw here: https://chaos.social/@foosel/113233763230193057

Attached: 1 image In order to improve my fresh #pixelart skills I'm going to try my hand at #hartoween 👉 https://social.horrorhub.club/@stina_marie/113220760493893634 Can't promise I'll be able to do everything on the day its due, and that I'll have the energy to keep up with it throughout the month, but it's worth a try at least. Personal rules: 128x128px (but exported at 200%), trying to stick to the ENDESGA64 palette as much as I can. So, here's day 1: Pumpkin #aseprite

Ok, here we go, my entry for day 1 of #cosytober2025, "Comfy". And I consider a hot mug of my favourite tea and a book a very comfy thing indeed, so I chose that.

64x64px (though rendered out at 400%), EDG77 palette, but only 16 of those colors used.

Not 100% happy, but hey, it's been a year since I last did any #pixelart and it took some time back then as well to get into the flow of things ^^

Like last year I've used my 12" Wacom drawing tablet because I can't draw with a mouse.

And here's day 1's timelapse.
@foosel interesting! what did you use the orange lines in the steam for? some kind of outline or rough sketch?
@daniel_bohrer rough outline & sketch, more visible on the checkboard background in Aseprite than what steam should look like ^^
@foosel ahh yes I figured that on the edges of the book, the color is too similar :D
