My Lego Game Boy review. Seriously, is there some kind of German word for what I'm feeling here? https://www.theverge.com/games/787849/lego-nintendo-game-boy-review
Lego’s Nintendo Game Boy is a brick masterpiece just shy of perfection

The moment I knew the Lego Game Boy was something special was when I saw they'd chosen this to display: the heartstring-tugging beach scene from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

So I took my time to get this photo right.

It might not impress the kids, but this game was the pinnacle of the original Game Boy, and you could only watch this cutscene once per playthrough unless you saved your SINGLE savegame right before it and stopped playing there... which I did, to get this photo.

Now, of course, there's YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwjewLrq8GM&list=RDvwjewLrq8GM&start_radio=1

And speaking of battery-backed cartridge savegames, Lego pays homage to that in an easter egg! The Link's Awakening cart has one; the Super Mario Land cart appropriately does not!
