I already knew about several appallingly evil decisions by the US Supreme Court (before the current Extreme Court era): Dred Scott (1857), Plessy v. Ferguson (1896), Lochner (1905), Korematsu (1944). Now I can add another to the list: Buck v. Bell (1927), upholding an infamous law authorizing involuntary #sterilization. Worthy of the Nazis — and cited by them as an inspiration and precedent.
