I have someone in my reddit inbox trying to tell me that 'tiered rewards' on kickstarters were the same problem vector as stretch goals.

Anyway, turns out the earliest links I have to kickstarter in my gmail are from like... 2011, so holy shit, has it been a fuckin' WHILE
Anyway, time for my 'every few years' check on what the fuck happened with various projects I backed.
On one hand, turns out a bunch of em finally finished.
On the other hand, the dropbox links are dead.
Oops.
I do *miss* having stuff like kickstarter campaigns to look forward to, I'll admit.
Throwback to early 2010s when loot boxes, kickstarters, etc would give you a bunch of entertainment from either getting shit, or the drama from not getting shit

@DarkestKale haha Yeah. Also in some of the fiction book subreddits, people sign up to them for limited edition books and either never get them or they're basically like, a book someone purchased in bulk from a book warehouse and just spray painted the page edges or whatever
