Same same. I went from living in the US 3 months of every year for various jobs to now where I won’t even fly over. I love our american friends, but their leadership (and lack of pushback against the same) have made it a non-starter for even visiting.

If they paid me handsomely in advance, I’d buy airline tickets to go to the USA.

Sure, because no American drivers ever do that, and it definitely warrants an expression or rod rage with a heavy dose of legal power differential.

No excuse for the border agent and he should know better. Please don’t camp in the left lane, if this statement makes you angry you’re part of the problem. Left lane camping causes road rage and unsafe driving habits.

I’m an American driver that goes to speed limit almost always, I might occasionally go a few miles over to pass, if somebody is going under the speed limit I might pass them in the left lane, and the people that want to go faster can fuck all the way off, if I am passing I’m allowed to use that whether I am speeding or not.

I think people are just dumb about speeding, most not even having anywhere to be just giving into their base instinct because they have no self control. And in doing so making themselves vulnerable to the authorities and their tax farming.

I wonder if speculating without any evidence while making an excuse for an asshole is disingenuous? If you’re going to speculate wildly, at least make it interesting like … he was driving upside-down and sideways instead of making up something so utterly lame.

As someone who is intimately familiar with the roadways in that area- no Canadian does the speedlimit in that area.

A lot of Europe has that codified in laws to various degrees (and possible fees).

Is this the case in USA too?
