@Viss @JessTheUnstill Actually, the problem is that we did NOT elect a majority of Democrats.

Because… every sitting SCOTUS justice nominated by Democrats is trying to maintain our Democracy. And, none of this absolute insanity being done by the President and unchallenged by Congress… was happening when Democrats were in charge.

In fact, if people actually voted for Democrats regularly, it’s undeniable things would be much better today.

But let’s complain about the minority party instead of the people in charge??????

@mls14 @Viss @JessTheUnstill In Australia, where I come from, we also have three arms of government that we supposed to be a counter-balance should any one arm of government stray too far from its constitutional obligations. Our judges hold to a long tradition of impartiality - even in our High Court, where the nuances of our Constitution are challenged from time to time. There is no way that those appointed to our High Court could be seen as partisan to one party or another.
