Does anyone know what thermistor value I’m supposed to read off a monoprice mini v2 bed? the display on it thinks it's 104(c?) and that feels, well, wrong šŸ˜„

alternately, is this a printer worth troubleshooting? I think it's been in a moving box for a while.

@arrjay Here are some articles on wayback about replacing both the bed and the hotend extruder: https://web.archive.org/web/20250113223037/https://www.nf6x.net/category/machineshop/

https://web.archive.org/web/20250110074204/https://www.mpselectmini.com/ used to be the best place for info on this family of printers but the site is not reachable at the moment.

as far as the bed goes, the original design would quickly wear and destroy the heat bed wires, as I detailed on my own blog way back in the day: https://emergent.unpythonic.net/01495066600 -- I don't know if the v2 is the same in that respect. But I would check for damage to the wiring as well as sensor problems.

While I apparently never blogged it(?) I repaired that and used a print like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2376061 to make it more durable. And used it for at least another year before upgrading.

I liked my MPSM v1 back in 2016(!) though my expectations have changed since then and I might not like it as well.

@stylus thanks! yeah, this is getting the bed wires rerouted (or rather, was and then got ignored for a while, so trying to complete it)
@arrjay good luck, this printer does have a sweet spot in my memory.
