While curing my cold with copious amounts of hot tea, I'm catching up with my "Shows to Watch" list.
I've just finished #TheCapture - I think S01 was better, but S02 is still good, recommended.
Also finished #StarTrekSNW S03 today and the most fun character was undoubtedly Doug. Looking forward to S04; curious how the writers plan to get rid of half of the crew.
And now: #Smoke, suggested by @DXMacGuffin.

Get rid of half the crew...

Oh no... they got a hold of the glove and those jewels... and someone is going to snap a finger?

@JohnJBurnsIII @DXMacGuffin Well, we always had those (nearly) omnipotent beings, like Q and his ilk and the retards from S03E02 (they might be the same or related, we don't know yet), or the Metron from S03E12, who can probably get the Tanos results.
But frankly, we know we'll see Nyota, Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and Christine in #StarTrekTOS. On the kill list: Erica, La'An, Joseph, and Pelia (gawd I hate her). It might be as simple as an asignment to a different ship/station, but I really hope for a less lazy solution.

@yourfutureex

I watch a fair amount of true crime shows. As I watched Smoke, I recognized that it was a dramatization of the story of arsonist John Orr.

It’s highly dramatized, intended more for entertainment than accuracy. But it was cool to see the true life elements woven into a story.

@DXMacGuffin #DennisLehane's name set the expectations somewhat higher, having read some of his books.
Also, ten points for Gryffindor for the #ThomYorke opening theme πŸ‘
@DXMacGuffin OK, while I like #JurneeSmollett, she by no means looks like an ex-Marine. Unless she was sitting behind a desk. #FrankieAdams would have been much more convincing, but you know what they say about people's opinions πŸ˜‰
