For one, they don’t have the same rigorous health standards that the military does, and for two, they just massively ballooned the budget of ICE for the specific purpose of recruitment. A lot easier to get dumb easily controlled thugs that way then trying to get the military deeply involved. The military being sent out is just Trump trying to pretend he’s swinging his big dick around when it actually shows how weak he must be to be doing it.
