Pressure works

"Disney Co. said Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return to the air on Tuesday, ending a suspension imposed following controversial remarks ..."

"...“It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.” https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-09-22/disney-says-jimmy-kimmel-live-to-return-following-backlash?srnd=undefined&embedded-checkout=true

HOW they positioned it for "saving face" is one thing. How the position it for the shareholders is another.

I know how corporate PR works. They will try and walk a line of not pissing off people that have power over them. (like the FCC, but they also don't want to lose money from customers. So they will try to have it both ways.)

"This happened because of #FCC pressure, bc of pressure from #Nexstar and #Sinclair which clearly got the message about what #BrendanCarr was saying and what it was he wanted"
