I keep tooting "The world is quiet here." whenever I launch a new instance and am the only one there, but no one has gotten the reference so far, as far as I can tell. :P

My first instance, which I used just to try out the software, was https://gts.verboseguacamole.com but I've long since taken that down.
GoToSocial is so lightweight to host, too. I've got all four of those running on the same machine as each other and as all the other things I host, including my search engine.
It's gotten far more feature complete even since I started hosting it. Back then, it didn't even have hashtags. Now it has complete support for hashtags, edits, and a number of features even Mastodon doesn't.
There are still a few things on the roadmap but overall it does very nicely, and I think all the ~30 active users I have on my instance enjoy it more than the Mastodon accounts they've previously had.
I first set it up in 15 minutes. Dead simple. :)
