shimst3r@ra6bit I just realized: If a new acquaintance doesn't have Signal, they're probably not gay enough to be interesting anyways. 
Fi 🏳️⚧️the really nice thing about signal usernames is that you can set yours to an arbitrary one to connect with a new contact and then change it more or less immediately; once you and the contact are connected, that affordance is no longer necessary and can be discarded.
