Israel has a history of targeting and eliminating journalists who write critically of Israel.

I'm rather confounded that the US has the goal of supporting democracy throughout the free world, and yet continues to turn a blind eye to Israel's anti-democratic actions.

The U.S. only supports democracy when its convenient, if you look at what the U.S. and the U.K. did to Iran in the 50s you will see they will just as happily sabotage democracy around the world to give billionaires an even bigger slice of the pie

@GalacticJew @w7voa even journalists who work for government-affiliated organisations are protected as civilian journalists, unless they participate directly in hostilities.

I’m not sure anyone was calling them independent.
