If NSW wanted to help out Qld with pill testing, ask Premier Chris Minns if he could please create a clinic at Tweed Heads in time for Schoolies. It won't be central to the action but might save a life or two. It would also tick Bleijie off. #qldpol https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-03-03/pill-testing-trial-wollongong-yours-and-owl-festival/105002284
Pill-testing trial at Wollongong's Yours and Owls Festival 'really positive'

The NSW Health Minister Ryan Park says 10 per cent of drugs tested at Wollongong's Yours and Owls Festival did not match consumer expectations.

@Qldaah
A great idea to have pill testing at Tweed Heads that Qlders can use. Practical and preventive action - the best of public health - could save kids’ lives, could lead to many grateful parents; also provide data for better preventive public health action in future. A no brainer, please NSW, be a hero & do this. 🙂

@Su_G @Qldaah also has a market impact. If suppliers know their sales will be hurt by bad test results, they have incentive not to adulterate.

@thomaswhitton
That is a very good point & another reason for pill testing - & to make it widely known too: “If suppliers know their sales will be hurt by bad test results, they have incentive not to adulterate.”
I really hope Tweed Heads comes to the party. 🙂
