Vaccines continue to prevent hospitalizations and save lives

Spouse and I got ours yesterday.

Our thinking was: "While we can still get them."

@Dusk2025 We had the same thought on Monday when we got ours.

Luckily our physician was more than happy to write prescriptions for us. We're in Oregon, the prescription requirement for COVID shots given by pharmacist was just removed yesterday.

Excellent!

Everyone who is vaccinated reduces the chances of another conflagration, at least as much as we can individually.

When the first round of vaccines came out my spouse was hesitant because it was new. My response was "What else can we do to fight back against this?" That question has been our touchstone since and we've gotten every booster since. No side effects other than the usual next day aches.
