📊 So, which one are you getting tomorrow?

Somebody said in a video that iPhone Air is for the kind of people who use their phone without a case (that’s me!), and that tipped the scales for me, so I’m pretty sure that will be my choice. Gold, with bumper, with cross body strap, with MagSafe battery pack — for trips, not day to day use

Ask me when they release a Mini

@KanaMauna @stroughtonsmith Sign. Switched from the 12 Mini to the 14 Pro a few years ago and hate the size. This is the phone, if I need a monitor I take the iPad. Sadly the 12 (Mini) Battery was crap, otherwise no reason to switch phones after two years.

Besides the way too large screen, the 14 Pro works still well and it has the one useful hardware upgrade in the past 10-ish years (which I hope to never need). Meaning satellite emergency services - I like to hike in the Alps. Otherwise they just bump specs that new software smokes away with unnecessary effects etc.

I’ve had many large phones for work but my personal phone is a 12 mini. Its battery is approaching its end and I think I’ll have it replaced. Apple needs to realize that not everybody keeps their phone in cargo pants pockets or bags.

@KanaMauna @stroughtonsmith 100% sign. I only replaced the 12 Mini as the battery runtime in the beginning was not good but after two years not even lasting a day without two times charging nearly fully wasn‘t doing it for me.

My 14 Pro I got fits my pants, but I‘d prefer to have a phone that can be used single handed. Guess most people prefer to use a phone as an iPad… (I started to call the non-mini phones iPad Mini based on the diagonal a few years ago)

Manufacturers need to be mindful of their aging consumers. I’m in my late 50s but arthritis is kicking in. A heavy two-handed tablet is not doable.
