I just realised I have subconsciously avoided any #kdrama with Nam Joo Hyuk after the emotional roller coaster of 2521. Started on Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo tonight and can't believe, after over a year of watching many many dramas, it's only my second one with NJH. Realise we often go off on actor quests so was amused to ponder this was a sort of 'anti-quest'!

@stuffjolikes Oh really? He's one of my favourite male leads! Especially in Start Up with Bae Suzy. But I also really enjoyed 2521. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo is on my list, maybe I should make a start on it! 😄

There are a couple of actors I'd prefer to avoid. Both of them are in See You in My 19th Life. The best actors can play a range of roles and do it believably. It's interesting how many people seem to have been traumatized by 2521, a show that I'd love to rewatch any time. I'm less driven by romance than many fans, and I thought the show was a fabulous depiction of youthful ambition, as well as the twists and turns that our relationships take as we go through our teens and young adulthood. Also, #KimTaeRi is an absolute QUEEN!

@EllenInEdmonton in many ways 2521 reminded me of La La Land..they both achieved their dream but couldn't be together while they were getting there.. I don't have a problem watching stuff with Kim Tae Ri so was just odd to realise how I've inadvertently avoided Nam Joo Hyuk!

I did not watch 2521 yet. Landed here because clicking #KimTaeRi .
Because being curious what she is doing now, her drama- and movie-lists are rather small. She works in the real theater as well I understand..
An old thought of me: Incredible how many AA -list actresses and actors Korea has.
Even the supporting roles are filled with Top.
And there is Kim Tae Ri....

#KimTaeRi is worth watching in EVERYTHING!! A few of us are watching/rewatching #MisterSunshine, and she is just stunning, in every single scene! So many close-ups in that show.
