Lull Hours are good for doing routine, mundane things like running the dishwasher, putting away what’s on the couchrobe, doing the weekly routine (taking the garbage and recycling out, etc.) and, in my case today, also the quarterly routine (checking to see if the portable radio and battery-powered light are still working and whatever else that you think I should really be doing monthly), and so on.

Today I Columbused* the band Do Make Say Think so I’m listening to their entire discography and it’s really good Lull Hour music.
* There’s gotta be a better word than “Columbused” meaning to find out about something for the first time. I’d rather not name things for said person and yes, even British Columbia where, OK, hear me out, we don’t always have to “rename” places. We can also agree to call places another name, like how New Zealand also goes by Aotearoa and yes, I know, B.C. doesn’t yet have a widely accepted Indigenous name, but can we call it “Trees and Mountains Everywhere” in the Indigenous languages?
