@lcamtuf Apparently you have different building codes 😉 Here in nimbyville electrical conduit has to be 24" underground.

@lcamtuf if it’s still exposed, consider adding foil tape to indicate buried power? Unfortunately I couldn’t find it in lengths less than about a parsec last time I needed some.

@lcamtuf i once had to lay conduit about 100 ft to the hot tub. I rented a ditch witch (what a great name!) and it just cut through buried bricks, but not the buried steel i beam. I can’t recommend that power tool enough for trenches! Especially for your needed length… next time.
