Thought maybe I'd jump in and try #100tinytreasures painting challenge, which I found by Leslie Stroz over on YouTube. I'm always reluctant to use "the good paper" so I cut it up into 5cmx5cm squares and got started!

3/100 #100tinytreasures
Not great at doing straight lines even on non MS relapse days, but hey I tried. ^^ Birds on a telephone line. 2nd picture is for scale (they're 2"x2" squares)
OK I'm no where near 100 tiny paintings, after 11 I just sort of fizzled out, so here's number 12, finally ^^
These are 2"x2" squares, paint is windsor & newton field travel set, ink is carbon ink (black) in a Hong dian forest series fountain pen (M nib).
I'm collecting them in a mint tin. I think there's a thread of these things some where..
@stargrace What a neat idea!!
ETA: Can I ask where you get the inspiration for the paintings?
@stargrace That is so beautiful!!!
Did you cut the paper yourself? (I'm thinking about doing this to get in a habit of painting)
@MsHearthWitch Yes, I did.
I find working bigger intimidating, and I wasn't *using* all my pretty supplies, so I measured my watercolour sketchbook, ripped the pages out, and used a really cheap paper cutter, then a corner cutter to round it.
I love miniatures, and looking at that tiny cute square is way better than looking at a huge empty page, plus now I have the most adorable collection ever.
@stargrace I have done some "big" pieces for the class I'm taking.
But getting out all of the stuff for that is "a process". So I'm kinda digging this idea of a small portable kit.
And I loooove mini things, hehehe.
