Willow (she/her)I can definitely understand why Leslie Stroz suggests cutting all the small paper pieces for the 100 tiny paintings challenge at the beginning.
It is tedious, for sure. But having those already done will make sitting down to do the paintings much much easier.
Super excited for this. Just becoming more and more the authentic version of me.
StargraceOK I'm no where near 100 tiny paintings, after 11 I just sort of fizzled out, so here's number 12, finally ^^
These are 2"x2" squares, paint is windsor & newton field travel set, ink is carbon ink (black) in a Hong dian forest series fountain pen (M nib).
I'm collecting them in a mint tin. I think there's a thread of these things some where..

I am behind in these little paintings, but I enjoy doing them when I can manage the time.
It's watercolour & ink on 100% cotton that I've cut down to size and trimmed the corners of. I keep them in an adorable little tin.

Watercolour on 100% cotton, life has been a bit much but I'm still trying to make intentional time for art through it all, so I can use up supplies, normalize a messy sketchbook, and maybe even get better at it over time. <3

It's May, which of course means #mermay is upon us - the first prompt was "mirror" and I completely ignored that and couldn't help but paint this #100tinytreasures painting of my chicken mermaid..... goofy? Sure, we're all sick atm so this is brought on by cold & flu medicine..

- Paper is 100% cotton that I've cut with a paper cutter, corners rounded with a corner trimmer (ty journaling supplies)
- Tin is an old altoids tin I had kicking around
- Paint is Winsor & Newton field kit
- Brushes were size 8 flat
- Ink is a fine line drawing pen from ohuhu size .35mm
