@Tutanota The vote is not today, and the German government explicitly stated that they are looking for compromises. The fight is not over.

I doubt that that's the last word in that debate. Politicians in Germany ride this dead horse for a decade now and the Federal Constitutional Court already ruled against 2 attempts to implement digital mass surveillance. I doubt that they won't try again. German partys like CDU/CSU and SPD are FOR this. They're already focused on using Palantir for datamining everywhere.
